WreckenShop Urban Dance Conference is all about bringing the best teachers from all over the world to share and grow with all of the amazing dancers that come to our event every year.

  1vs1 All Style Battle $500 IN Cash and Prizes

Pro Battle (16 & up)
1st place Winner will receive:
– $250 Cash Money
– $250 WreckenShop Gear and WorkShops
 
Jr. Battle (15 & under)
1st place Winner will receive:
– $50 Cash Money
– $100 WreckenShop Gear and WorkShops
 
Entering in the All Style Battle:
Please come a few minutes early to fill out a waiver and pick your style of music for showcase.
(must pay to enter and additional $5.00 to compete)
 
Rules:
The battle will begin with a 60 sec showcase of your choice of music selected from one of the categories listed below.

New School Hip Hop
Old School Hip Hop
 
Judges will choose the top 16 from the showcases.
Once chosen you will battle 1vs1 with a dancer chosen by the judges. Now here’s the fun part. To make it fair, you and the other dancer competing will role 1 dice each. One dice will have the choice of music and the other dice will decide who dances first.

WreckenShop

Wreckenshop was founded by GraVIDy (Vid Cotarta) In the summer of 1999. GraVIDy launched an Urban Life website focused primarily on dancers and artists. The site sold dance VHS, DVD’s, and Music CD’s from local bay area artists as well as across country. The WreckenShop brand was not limited to only an online presence. WreckenShop was also a weekly night club in the East Bay and has thrown special dance events from San Francisco to Hawaii. In 2001 they started a clothing brand.  In 2005 he started the annual WreckenShop Urban Dance Conference where they brought some of the best teachers from all over the world to teach in the Bay Area. This event includes an All Style Dance Battle, and workshops covering many different forms of Urban Dances. Now in 2018 Vid Cotarta has partnered up with Sam and he is now in charge of the daily operations of the company.
