Founder and Owner

In the summer of 1999 Vid Cotarta launched an Urban Life Website focused primarily on dancers. The site sold Dance VHS/DVD’s, Music CD, and clothing. The WreckenShop brand was not limited to only an online presence. WreckenShop was a weekly night club in the East Bay and has thrown special dance parties from San Francisco to Hawaii. In 2005 Vid started the annual WreckenShop Urban Dance Conference where he brought some of the best teachers from all over the world to teach in the Bay Area. This 3 day event includes an All Style Dance Battle, and 2 days of classes covering 6 different forms of Urban Dances.

Sam Reidy
Co-Owner/Partner

In 2012 Sam joined the WreckenShop staff as a volunteer. He quickly became an invaluable part of the team. In 2018 Vid Cotarta made him a partner at WreckenShop and now he is in charge of the daily operations of the company.

Katie Hall
Event and Volunteer Coordinator

In 2010 Katie joined the WreckenShop staff and has been a tremendous asset to our team. She has helped organize our daily operations and is responsible for organizing all events, and volunteers. She is also in charge of all shows, teachers and dancers.
